I’ve just read Kevin Mitnick’s book Ghost In The Wires: My Adventures as the World’s Most Wanted Hacker and it is definitely worth a read if you are interested in getting to hear the full story from Kevin’s perspective as he became the worlds most wanted hacker.
It’s a very readable book that doesn’t require any prior knowledge of computers or telephone systems in order to enjoy.
However, if you’re not a fan of Kevin Mitnick, don’t like him and feel that he should apologise constantly for his actions (for which he spent considerable time in solitary confinement for). Or simply don’t know who he is… then you may want to skip it.
