Selling snake oil

I was talking to a friend the other day about vendors that make lofty claims and have a large share of the security market, yet not a single user appears to be happy with the product. We joked about how it must be the snazzy marketing that went along with it and pondered over how snake oil techniques have changed over the years. One of the things he pointed out was that in order to make an ordinary or even meaningless quote seem profound, all you had to do was take a picture of yourself, convert it to black and white against a black background and add the text.

So I decided to give it a go… what do you think? Which one of these can be used to sell products and turn me into an infosec messiah?

  1. Definitely “One cloud to rule them all”. It’s a great mash up of geek, infosec and infosec geek. I’m gonna use it to sound awesome… and I will cite you…unless I forget or decide not to. Thanks!
